Our 10 Year Anniversary

Over the last ten years, Ireland has fallen in love with the award-winning taste of O’Donnells Crisps. In fact, our hand-cooked crisps are Ireland’s favourite. What’s the secret? Well, it all starts with the perfect potato. The O’Donnell family have lived on Seskin Farm in Tipperary for seven generations and we are proud to use almost 300 years of expertise to bring you O’Donnells, the finest hand-cooked crisps.
It wasn’t an easy start, Ed O’Donnell was a young farmer straight out of agricultural college with a dream to make crisps from his potatoes but he was not a trained chef or crisp maker. When Ed attempted to make his first batch of hand-cooked crisps at home he almost blew up the kitchen! So, he went on a crisp manufacturing course and called in the help of crisp experts. As it turned out Ed knew exactly what he wanted because he sent back 15 versions of the mature cheese and onion flavour crisps until he had the perfect mouth watering flavour we all know and love today.
To make our six delicious award winning flavours, we use 100% sunflower oil, no artificial colours or flavours and no added MSG.
O’Donnells Crisps are Ireland’s best-selling hand cooked crisps and our Mature Cheese & Red Onion Flavour is the nation’s favourite hand cooked crisp flavour.
