GOLD Irish Food Award!
O'Donnells Mature Irish Cheese & Red Onion wins GOLD Blas na hEireann, Irish Food Award
Kate O'Donnell accepts The GOLD Irish Food Award for O'Donnells Crisps from Mick Ryan, Bank of Ireland
Wow, we struck GOLD.
Ed O'Donnell launched his crisp brand in 2010 with two great flavours, Mature Irish Cheese & Red Onion and Irish Cider Vinegar & Sea Salt which have both been success stories, winning many awards each. So, to win GOLD this year at the Irish Food Awards on our 10 anniversary with our signature, No.1 product is fantastic.
All food categories are blind tasted by food experts so this really is a super seal of approval for a great crisp flavour.
We are so very humbled and proud.

We are beyond thrilled to accept the Gold award in The Crisps category at Blas na hEireann, Irish Food Awards. This is the second year in a row that Ireland’s favourite hand cooked crisps, O’Donnells Mature Cheese & Red Onion Flavour, has won The Gold award in the crisps category. These awards are blind tasted by a panel of food experts. Kate O’Donnell accepted the award from Con Traas of The Apple Farm in Co Tipperary and chairman of The Tipperary Food Producers Network. Wonderful to celebrate Irish food and local food producers so congratulations to all the well deserved winners.

Big news! The O’Donnells Crisps team have been working very hard to reduce the environmental impact of packaging waste and we are making significant reductions on the amount of film used across all of our range, including our new O’Donnells Furrows. We are proud to say that this year we have reduced the film on our core range (50g and 125g) by 18% and our 6 pack multipacks by 30% #lesspackaging #environmental #waste #sustainability
